And in surreal online news – George Orwell’s domestic and political diaries are being published in blog form.
The diaries, which he kept from 1938 to 1942, cover the Spanish Civil War and his time in Marrakech. They are being posted in “real time” – that is, daily, 70 years to the day after they were first written.
